So I've finally gone on a date, or I guess just met for a beer. I should have known it was going to go bad when we made last minute plans. A little about my date. He just took the bar and basically isn't doing a whole lot until he finds out if he passed. He seemed like a nice guy, did buy my beer for me, so points for that.
We went to the Bonn Lair, a pub in Sac, that has a great atmosphere and is good for getting to know someone, well that is unless you sit on the patio that has space for only 5 or 6 people. So here we are, with another group of people, really no chance to sit and have to normal chit chat conversation. So we talk with the group of people sitting around and they are pretty funny, so it seems to be going okay.
Well the group of people leave and we start chatting about traveling, and other things. Well our chat then turns into a bit of an arguement about which is better to see things, riding a bicycle or running, driving, etc. Yeah, we did this for about 20 minutes, it was the stupidest arguement I've ever had. I proved to be stubbord and hardheaded as usual. So we after a few more minutes we both decided it was time to go home. I later emailed him apoligized for the stupid arguement, no caring one way or the other whether he wanted to see me again. And he didn't, I am sure he is intiminated by my blunt and honest approach to things! Oh well.

Back at it!
Ok,
So now that I am no longer dating you know who, I put myself back on Match.com. I myself wonder why, since I've obviously haven't had any success on it the two other times I've been, but alas, I love a challenge.
So as of Saturday, my profile is now up and running. If you guys are curious, it is under laxgirl66.
Being back up is always exciting because you feel like it's a whole new dating pool out there, only to realize that it's not. I am curious as to why men need to send me messages when they don't live in the greater Sacramento area. Now I am not just talking about guys in the Bay Area, because at least they are in the same state. Oh no, I have a guy sending me messages from Maui. Ummm, last time I checked that's kind of far from California. It just seems odd that people would choose to meet someone that doesn't live near them. I have already decided that if you don't live within Sac, then it isn't going to work out (hell I was going to date someone that was moving to Africa, what was I smoking).
Well this will be a tale of my ups and downs in the online dating world. I hope you all enjoy and follow in the next three months of my life, who knows maybe it will actually be success this time around.
